Return To ShopEvery day, we receive numerous inquiries regarding our natural Shilajit resin product. In response to this, we have decided to compile a list of frequently asked questions to provide comprehensive answers. This will cover various aspects including side effects, appropriate dosage, benefits, returns, shipping, and other customer service-related queries.
Shilajit, often referred to as the “Nectar of God,” holds great significance in certain regions of northern India where it is known as the “remover of weakness.” This resin, which is dark brown or black in color, is derived from the decomposition of long-dead plants. It is abundantly found in the Altai mountains, particularly during the summer months when the temperature is higher. Yogis often consume this unique-looking resin as part of their meditation practice.
Similar to our other products, Shilajit resin serves as a potent adaptogen and is rich in vitamins and minerals. Adaptogens have remarkable qualities as they assist in restoring balance within the body’s systems. They have the ability to assess the body’s cells and provide support where it is most needed. Additionally, the high antioxidant content in Shilajit resin helps combat free radicals and protects the body from oxidative stress.
Moreover, this mineral has been known to enhance libido, revitalize the reproductive system, boost stamina and vitality, promote urinary tract and kidney health, improve the efficacy of other herbs, and aid in the absorption of nutrients.

A 25 gram container contains 250 minimum 100 mg servings. On average this jar will last around 1 month as most people will take anywhere from 250-500 mg daily. If you weight under 110lb, 100 mg serving will suffice, if you are over 110 lb, 250-500 will be your daily dose. We also carry 50 gram, 100 gram, and 250 gram containers.
If your shilajit resin has turned hard, don’t worry! You can easily soften it by following these steps:
Prepare the Resin: Place the hardened shilajit resin into a small container or jar.
Add Water: Add 5-10 drops of warm water to the shilajit. Be careful not to add too much water, as you don’t want to dilute the resin too much[4].
Stir and Wait: Stir the mixture gently. Let it sit for a few minutes. The resin will gradually absorb the water and begin to soften[5].
Check Consistency: If the resin hasn’t softened enough, repeat the process by adding a few more drops of water and stirring again until the desired consistency is achieved.
Store Properly: Once softened, close the container tightly to keep the shilajit at the right consistency for future use[4].
When shilajit resin hardens, it’s still perfectly good — it just needs a little warmth to get soft and scoopable again. Here are the easiest and safest ways to soften it:
Keep the lid tightly closed.
Place the jar in a cup of hot water (not boiling).
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes.
The heat will loosen the resin and make it soft again.
Hold the jar in your hand for 1–2 minutes.
Your body heat will soften the top layer enough to scoop.
Run a spoon under hot water, dry it.
Use the warm spoon to scoop the resin easily.
Don’t microwave the jar — it can overheat the resin or damage the container.
Shilajit naturally stiffens in cooler temperatures. In warmer climates it’s soft; in colder ones it becomes solid.
